The construction of 20,000 residential units is a step towards living space for the homeless: Firdous
Dr. Firdous Ashik Avan, the Prime Minister’s special assistant for information and broadcasting, said Thursday that the start of construction of 20,000 residential units in seven projects is a practical step towards the goal of building 500,000 homes for homeless people.
In a series of tweets, she said the prime minister was working to make people’s dream of their own home come true.
She said that improving the lifestyle of people in Pakistan is Prime Minister Imran Khan’s mission and that providing houses for people is part of the PTI manifesto.
She said that with the start of these housing projects, economic activity will gain momentum and 40 related industries will also gain momentum, which will create new jobs.
According to SAPM, Prime Minister Imran Khan was the only leader who felt the pain of the poor and opened shelters for the homeless and poor.
